REZEL and Aramco Sign MoU to Build Saudi Arabia's First Catalyst Manufacturing and Metals Reclaiming Plant

REZEL Catalysts Corporation (REZEL), a leading global catalyst manufacturer and licensor, and Aramco, one of the world's leading integrated energy and chemicals companies, announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), with the aim of collaborating to establish the first Saudi plant combining catalyst manufacturing and metals reclaiming from spent catalyst.

Refineries worldwide are encountering growing challenges due to fast-changing trading policies and increasingly complex supply chains, emphasizing the critical need for localized solutions. This facility will integrate REZEL's catalyst production capabilities (FCC and other catalysts) with advanced precious metals recovery processes. By manufacturing essential catalysts locally, REZEL is expected to enhance supply chain resilience for sensitive refinery operations. Additionally, REZEL's proprietary metals reclamation technology will enable Gulf Cooperation Council refineries and petrochemical operators to recover high-value metals locally, streamlining the management of their precious metals catalyst pools.

This initiative underscores REZEL's dedication to investing in the Middle East, with the primary goal of providing sustainable, efficient products and enhancing closed-loop solutions for the oil and gas value chain.
